How To Own Your Power

Are you completely owning your power in life? One of the biggest resolutions we can make this coming year is to own our power! Read more to find out how you can step into your power!

Your Power Is Within You

To own our power we must, first and foremost, realise that it’s within us. Your power lies within you and you can choose to own it and exercise it as much as you want!

The moment we tell ourselves that our power has been taken away from us or that we’ve given it away, we immediately distance ourselves from owning it. Because it implies that we can’t access it, which isn’t true.

Be Authentic To Yourself

Who are you? What do you value? Who do you aspire to be?

By gaining more self-awareness, we can make powerful decisions that align with what we want.

Turn Up The Volume On Your Intuition

I’m sure you’ll agree that intuition is a powerful resource. Listen to your intuition. Let it guide you to what’s important to you, helping you live more authentically. No doubt, intuition has a huge part to play in owning our power.

The Power Of Choice

The power to choose and make decisions is one of the biggest powers we have. Are you owning your power by making decisions that align with what you want? Too often we underestimate the power of a ‘no’. When we learn to say no with conviction, we are better able to take care of ourselves.

Letting Go Of Blame

There’s several people we can blame for many different things in our lives and we might be right too. But in doing so we unknowingly give away our power. By taking responsibility and focusing on what we can control, we can better own our power.

Negative Self-talk & Limiting Beliefs

You are powerful beyond measure. But do you believe it?

Negative self-talk tends to chip away at our power, making us think less of ourselves. Replacing negative self-talk with positive affirmations can transform the way we think and act. Instead of indulging in things that take away our power, let’s intentionally focus on the things that make us more powerful!

To live authentically, meaningfully and powerfully, we’ve got to ask ourselves: ‘Where am I not owning my power or exercising it?’. And most importantly, how can you change it for yourself?
