What a privilege it was for Jasmine to be a part of this amazing conference. From start to finish it was empowering and affirming for all. The feedback has been fantastic.

Jasmine was interviewed by Lenny T on Luton Urban Radio (LUR) a couple of times whilst promoting The Women Like Me Luton Luton & Beds Conference that took place in June 2020.
Jasmine made quite an impression and now co-hosts a show on a Monday evening twice a month with Lenny T. Click here to listen to LUR from their website or use any digital radio app. Join Jasmine and Lenny T most Mondays between 8pm to 10pm for the Dynamic Duos Take on Life show. It’s where they’ll share their take, their guests take and your take on life. Often with special guests.
Jasmine seeks every opportunity to positively impact women. So when she saw the great work that Women Supporting Women Network are doing she sought to get involved.
2020 is presented many unexpected and unforeseen challenges. However, there has positives. One for us at The Like Me CIC has been broadening our impact to Africa. Jasmine shares her 3Rs: Recover, Reconnect, Rise, and her story to empower and inspire this group of women based in Nigeria in a 2 part series.
Jasmine along with a fellow speaker at The Women Like Me Luton & Beds Conference, Hasina Rahman, were guests on Shemiza Rashid’s Urban Kube show on Inspire FM.

The Girls Like Me Luton & Beds Conference was put on to mark the International Day of the Girl. It made headlines as Jasmine appealed for community sponsorship to help fund the empowerment of our girls. You can see the article here.
RadioLab 97.1 FM with DJ Stax
As you can see Jasmine had such a great time with DJ Stax on Radio LaB 97.1FM. This was an opportunity to share about The Like Me CIC and how the passion to work with girls came about, culminating in The Girls Like Me Luton & Beds Conference in October 2019. The first of many to celebrate The International Day of the Girl.
Unmask Your Inner Queen Retreat
Being a guest speaker at this wonderful retreat hosted by Haneefah Muhammad was such a privilege for Jasmine. Not simply because she got the opportunity to connect deeply with the queens who attended, but because this retreat embodied a vision Jasmine had sometime ago.
Beds & Herts Business Live
Jasmine was invited to speak about her entrepreneurial journey since starting The Like Me CIC and this she did. As usual though Jasmine took this opportunity to encourage and empower others who are beginning their journey to build confidence and go for it.
RealTalk with Simply Deez on Pamtengo Radio
Jasmine appeared on the RealTalk with Simply Deez show. Not only was she able to share about herself, The Like Me CIC and The Women Like Me Conference. She was also there to celebrate shows first birthday with a bit of bubbly and cake, which was good ?. (Those that know Jasmine know she loves cake ?). It was a great evening enabling her to meet with several other amazing people as per the picture below.
Meaningful Talk on Pamtengo Radio
Clare and Rigerta welcomed Jasmine to join them on their Meaningful Talk show on Pamtengo Radio. It gave Jasmine a chance to share about herself and the work The Like Me CIC is doing, in particular The Women Like Me Luton Conference.
Luton Urban Radio with Lady Empress
Oh Jasmine had such an interesting interview with Lady Empress. She was the first radio host to respond to what Jasmine does with ‘I don’t buy it’. Jasmine was shocked ? but one thing you’ll get to know about Jasmine is that she fights for a cause. This interview was no different. Thankfully, no violence was involved, just passion and purpose with experience which was enough to convince Lady Empress. She even went on to suggest Jasmine should host her own radio show, (thanks to the tips from Rose Marie). ?
BBC Three Counties Radio
Jasmine had such a great time with Edward Adoo on BBC Three Counties Radio. He was such a friendly and encouraging radio host. It was a pleasure to share.
Jasmine made the paper with The Women Like Me Luton Conference and it was to be the first newspaper feature but not the last. She also appeared in the Luton Today. Check out the article by clicking here.
Rose Marie on Sunday at MKHR
This was Jasmine’s very first radio interview and Rose Marie being the gracious and generous woman that she is, schooled Jasmine in the way of radio. Including putting her at ease and reminding Jasmine to slow down ;-). It set Jasmine up for the future.
