What is self love?
When we hear ‘self love’ , the image of pamper days arise. We all deserve to treat ourselves and yes self care days are important but self love is unapologetically having the highest regard for yourself.
Stand in your power by putting yourself first and taking care of your own needs and happiness without guilt or sacrificing your wellbeing just to please others.
Remove your mask, unconditionally love yourself and show up as authentically you. You are worthy.
You’re worthy of love
Own your power and give yourself the permission to love and accept yourself to the fullest.
Fully accepting yourself by loving all of the beautifully imperfect, unique and quirky parts of yourself that make you who you are, regardless of whether or not they fit todays societies standards. You are ALWAYS worthy of love.
You were born to be real, not perfect.
A lot of women deem many parts of themselves as unlovable and not good enough. These negative, untrue views on ourselves are what we have accumulated from society. You must release and let go of these thoughts that don’t serve you, to allow space for positivity and loving self talk.
Talk to yourself like someone you love.
Make self love affirmations part of your daily routine. For affirmations to work best you must act as if you truly feel and believe your affirmations when you repeat “I accept myself fully,” “I am worthy of love,” and “I am beautifully imperfect!”. These positive words will soon enough become your natural thought patterns. Allowing you to be and feel more loved and confident.
Love yourself
Loving yourself may be considered as ‘selfish’ and ‘ignorant’ by some people but these bad connotations are from those who do not yet fully love themselves and are projecting their insecurities onto you.
So stop shrinking yourself, dimming your light and hiding behind the mask just to make others feel more comfortable. Be bold, show up big and shine bright because you are valuable and worthy. You deserve to be seen and known as your authentic self.
Self love isn’t selfish, its a necessity for our wellbeing and a full, successful life.
